Tour Description

This is a two day tour in which we visit Copan and Quirigua. Copan has always been referred to as the most artistically advanced and elaborate of all the Maya cities. Then we visit Quirigua, which features a total of 22 carved stelae and zoomorphs are among the finest examples of classic Mayan stone carvings.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
05:00 a.m.	Departure from the hotel in Antigua .
9:30 a.m.	We arrive to Quirigua and begin the tour of the archeological site, after the visit we cross the Guatemalan border to reach Copan in Honduras .
	Lunch
15:00	Free afternoon .
Day 2
	We visit the copan Archeological site for about 4 hours .
	We return to Guatemala City crossing the border and arriving at about 7:30 P.M. to Antigua Guatemala .
