Tour Description

This archeological site is located 12 kilometers east of Sayaxché a long the river banks of La Pasión river. Ciebal was declared Archeological Park in 1985; it was given a reservation area of 17,612 sq. kilometers, in order to protect and perform the conservation of the archeological heritage.

Detailed Itinerary

08.00 a.m.	Departure from the hotel area in central Flores or the international Airport.
09:30 a.m.	We arrive to Sayaxché and begin the tour by boat to Ceibal navigating through La Pasión river.
10:30 a.m.	We walk to the archeological site and begin our visit including: Group A, Group C, Group D, the circular piramid, the zoomorfo altar, the acient ball park and the main roads( I & II)
14:00	We return by boat to Sayaxché
15:00	Departure from Sayaxché to Santa Elena, arriving aproximately at 16:00 hours to the hotel area in Flores .

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
08:00 a.m.	Departure from the hotel area in central Flores or the international Airport.
09:30 a.m.	We arrive to Sayaxché and begin the tour by boat to Ceibal navigating through La Pasión river. Tour around Ceibal.
	Lunch
14:00	We return by boat to Sayaxché we continue to Petexbatún for accommodations.
Day 2
	Breakfast
	Departure by boat to Aguateca.
	We enter through the jungle and the aguateca geological fault.
	We visit the Grand Plaza , the ceremonial center, the north complex, the Necrópolis and the natural fortress of Aguateca.
	Lunch
	We return by boat to Sayaxché arriving aproximately at 16:00 hours to the hotel area in Flores .
